Les Communaux couvrent plus de 20 ha et abritent une grande variété de milieux ouverts dont une prairie utilisée pour le pâturage depuis fort longtemps. Le site est connu pour abriter l'une des plus belles populations de Sérapias langue, orchidée emblématique de la Brenne. Il accueille de nombreux insectes dont le Damier de la Succise, papillon protégé au niveau européen ainsi que des amphibiens et des reptiles comme le Triton crêté et la Cistude d'Europe.
Pour accompagner le visiteur lors de sa découverte sur le site, un panneau d’information a été installé à l’entrée, accompagné de l’édition d’une plaquette d’information.

The Communes cover more than 20 ha and are home to a wide variety of open environments, including a meadow that has been used for grazing for a very long time. The site is known to be home to one of the most beautiful populations of Sérapias langue, the emblematic orchid of the Brenne. It is home to many insects including the Damier de la Succise, a butterfly protected at the European level, as well as amphibians and reptiles such as the Crested Triton and the European Cistude.
To accompany visitors as they discover the site, an information panel has been set up at the entrance, accompanied by an information leaflet.

Les Communaux ist über 20 ha groß und beherbergt eine große Vielfalt an offenen Lebensräumen, darunter eine Wiese, die schon sehr lange als Weide genutzt wird. Der Standort ist dafür bekannt, dass er eine der schönsten Populationen der Serapias langue beherbergt, einer emblematischen Orchidee der Brenne. Es beherbergt zahlreiche Insekten wie den Damier de la Succise, einen europaweit geschützten Schmetterling, sowie Amphibien und Reptilien wie den Kammmolch und die Europäische Sumpfschildkröte.
Um den Besucher bei seiner Entdeckung des Standorts zu begleiten, wurde am Eingang eine Informationstafel aufgestellt, begleitet von der Herausgabe einer Informationsbroschüre.
