On peut penser que c'est en ce lieu que les gallo-romains édifièrent au IIIème siècle un établissement thermal alimenté par les sources de la Douée et de l'Echevêtre. A la fin du XI1ème siècle, l'endroit fut complètement remanié pour en faire un parc à l'anglaise. Aujourd'hui propriété municipale, le parc est ouvert au public et accueille des manifestations en saison estivale.

We can think that it is in this place that the Gallo-Romans built in the 3rd century a thermal establishment fed by the springs of the Douée and the Echevêtre. At the end of the 11th century, the place was completely redesigned to become an English-style park. Today, the park is a municipal property and is open to the public and hosts events during the summer season.

Es ist anzunehmen, dass die Gallorömer im 3. Jahrhundert an dieser Stelle ein Thermalbad errichteten, das von den Quellen Douée und Echevêtre gespeist wurde. Ende des 11. Jahrhunderts wurde der Ort komplett umgestaltet und in einen englischen Park umgewandelt. Heute befindet sich der Park in städtischem Besitz und ist für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. In der Sommersaison finden hier Veranstaltungen statt.

Men kan zich voorstellen dat de Gallo-Romeinen op deze plaats in de 3e eeuw een thermale inrichting bouwden die gevoed werd door de bronnen van de Douée en de Echevêtre. Aan het einde van de 11e eeuw werd de plaats volledig heringericht tot een park in Engelse stijl. Tegenwoordig is het park eigendom van de gemeente en staat het open voor het publiek en worden er tijdens het zomerseizoen evenementen georganiseerd.

Si può pensare che in questo luogo i Gallo-Romani abbiano costruito nel III secolo uno stabilimento termale alimentato dalle sorgenti della Douée e dell'Echevêtre. Alla fine dell'XI secolo, il luogo fu completamente ridisegnato in un parco all'inglese. Oggi il parco è di proprietà del Comune, è aperto al pubblico e ospita eventi durante la stagione estiva.
