Dans un souci sécuritaire, le sentier du littoral est interdit à toute circulation piétonnière entre la sortie de la commune de Ciboure et l’entrée du domaine d’Abbadia sur la commune d’Hendaye. Pour le moment, la route de la Corniche reste ouverte aux voitures mais certaines voies subiront des aménagements.
Depuis 2019, le Département des Pyrénées-Atlantiques a mené plusieurs études géotechniques sur la Corniche Basque. Les conclusions ont mis en évidence que le sentier du littoral et la route de la Corniche présentent de nombreux secteurs à risque d'effondrement. Des effondrements locaux se sont déjà produits et il s'avère qu'ils pourraient se déclencher de manière brutale sans signe préalable permettant de les anticiper.

For safety reasons, the coastal path is closed to all pedestrian traffic between the exit of the town of Ciboure and the entrance to the Abbadia estate in Hendaye. For the time being, the Corniche road remains open to cars but some lanes will undergo improvements.
Since 2019, the Department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques has conducted several geotechnical studies on the Corniche Basque. The conclusions have highlighted that the coastal path and the Corniche road have many areas at risk of collapse. Local collapses have already occurred and it appears that they could be triggered in a sudden manner without any prior sign allowing them to be anticipated.

Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist der Küstenpfad zwischen dem Ausgang der Gemeinde Ciboure und dem Eingang der Domaine d'Abbadia in der Gemeinde Hendaye für jeglichen Fußgängerverkehr gesperrt. Die Route de la Corniche bleibt vorerst für Autos geöffnet, einige Wege werden jedoch umgebaut.
Seit 2019 hat das Département Pyrénées-Atlantiques mehrere geotechnische Studien an der Corniche Basque durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse machten deutlich, dass der Küstenpfad und die Straße der Corniche zahlreiche einsturzgefährdete Bereiche aufweisen. Lokale Einstürze sind bereits aufgetreten und es stellte sich heraus, dass sie ohne vorherige Anzeichen, die eine Vorhersage ermöglicht hätten, plötzlich ausbrechen könnten.

Met het oog op de veiligheid is het kustpad tussen de uitgang van de gemeente Ciboure en de ingang van het domein Abbadia in de gemeente Hendaye voor alle voetgangersverkeer afgesloten. Voorlopig blijft de Corniche-weg open voor auto's, maar sommige rijstroken zullen worden aangepast.
Sinds 2019 heeft het departement Pyrénées-Atlantiques verschillende geotechnische studies uitgevoerd op de Corniche Basque. Uit de conclusies blijkt dat het kustpad en de Corniche-weg op veel plaatsen gevaar lopen in te storten. Er hebben zich reeds lokale instortingen voorgedaan en het lijkt erop dat deze plotseling kunnen plaatsvinden zonder voorafgaande waarschuwing.

Por razones de seguridad, el camino de la costa está cerrado a todo el tráfico peatonal entre la salida de la ciudad de Ciboure y la entrada a la finca Abbadia en Hendaya. Por el momento, la carretera de la Corniche sigue abierta a los coches, pero algunos carriles serán modificados.
Desde 2019, el departamento de Pirineos Atlánticos ha realizado varios estudios geotécnicos en la Corniche Basque. Las conclusiones han demostrado que la senda costera y la carretera de la Corniche tienen muchas zonas con riesgo de colapso. Ya se han producido colapsos locales y parece que podrían desencadenarse repentinamente sin previo aviso.

Per motivi di sicurezza, il sentiero costiero è chiuso al traffico pedonale tra l'uscita della città di Ciboure e l'ingresso della tenuta Abbadia a Hendaye. Per il momento, la strada Corniche rimane aperta alle auto, ma alcune corsie saranno modificate.
Dal 2019, il dipartimento Pyrénées-Atlantiques ha realizzato diversi studi geotecnici sulla Corniche Basque. Le conclusioni hanno mostrato che il sentiero costiero e la strada della Corniche presentano molte aree a rischio di crollo. Si sono già verificati crolli locali e sembra che possano scatenarsi all'improvviso senza alcun preavviso.
