Bienvenue dans le Mortainais, la région la plus escarpée de la Manche. Nous sommes ici au cœur du bocage normand, un pays verdoyant s’il en est. De Mortain à Sourdeval, vous emprunterez l’une des « voies vertes » de la Manche, ce large chemin aménagé sur une ancienne voie ferrée, puis des chemins creux et rocailleux. Cette balade nécessite toutefois une bonne condition physique ainsi qu’une bonne maîtrise du VTT.

Welcome to the Mortainais, the steepest region of the Channel. We are here in the heart of the Normandy bocage, a green country if ever there was one. From Mortain to Sourdeval, you will take one of the "green ways" of the Channel, this wide path built on an old railway line, then hollow and rocky paths. However, this walk requires a good physical condition and a good command of mountain biking.

Willkommen im Mortainais, der steilsten Region des Departements Manche. Wir befinden uns hier im Herzen der normannischen Bocage, einer grünen Landschaft, wenn man so will. Von Mortain nach Sourdeval fahren Sie auf einem der "grünen Wege" der Manche, einem breiten Weg, der auf einer ehemaligen Eisenbahntrasse angelegt wurde, und dann über steinige Hohlwege.
